Lay and Registrant Members of Equality, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (EDEI) Committee
We are currently recruiting Lay and Registrant Members to our new Equality, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (EDEI) Committee. Wherever you are in your career, if you have a passion and enthusiasm for EDEI, we encourage you to consider getting involved.
Association for Nutrition
We are the independent regulator for Registered Nutritionists
A Registered Charity, our role is to protect and benefit the public. We hold the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN), a register of competent, qualified nutrition professionals who meet our rigorously applied standards for scientifically sound evidence-based nutrition and its use in practice. The UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists is the only register of qualified nutritionists recognised by Public Health England and the NHS.
Our Charitable Objects are to:
· Promote the health of the public by the promotion and maintenance of high standards of practice among, and the regulation of, nutritionists;
· Advance the study and practice of nutritional science and medicine;
· Advance the education of the public and to promote research for the public benefit in the field of nutrition, health and allied subjects.
The Role of the EDEI Committee:
