Consultation Open : AfN Standards of Ethics, Conduct & Performance
The AfN Registration Committee are currently undertaking a review of our Standards of Ethics, Conduct and Performance. These standards detail how the public, employers and colleagues can expect our Registrants to behave and practise. To retain public, employer and colleague’s trust and confidence in nutritionists, as both responsible practitioners and an ethical profession, it is important these are robust and reflect the current environment, developments in the field, technology, legislation and breadth of activities undertaken.
In March-April 2021 we undertook a survey to gather thoughts and opinions on the current standards. This information aided our review and the development of a draft (updated) standards document. You can read the draft AfN Standards of Ethics, Conduct & Performance document here
Today we are opening a consultation on this draft document and we would like to hear your thoughts.
The consultation is open until 12-noon Monday 23rd August 2021, and responses can be submitted online here.
Once the consultation has closed, the responses will be reviewed and the document updated as needed.
