Nutritional Education & Training Specialist

Main purpose of job

The Education & Training Specialist will work with the Education & Training Manager to support and coordinate regular, ongoing training of internal staff/customers/ partners across multiple markets, acting as a knowledge bridge between science, business, and customer education.

The responsibilities of the Education & Training Specialist shall include, but will not be limited to: 

Training & Education Development 

  • Develop and implement engaging training programs for employees, sales teams, healthcare professionals, and retail partners. 
  • Create educational materials, including presentations, product guides, webinars, and e-learning content. 
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions on product formulations, ingredients, benefits, and usage guidelines. 

Content Creation & Communication 

  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to ensure training materials align with company goals and scientific research. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory guidelines to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. 
  • Create evidence-based educational content for marketing and sales teams to use in consumer engagement. 
  • Write and edit educational content, including blogs, FAQs, and social media posts related to health, wellness, and supplements. 
  • Translate complex information into digestible, practical knowledge for diverse audiences. 

Sales & Customer Support 

  • Support the sales team with technical expertise and product knowledge training to enhance their ability to educate and engage customers. 
  • Assist in developing scripts, FAQs, and sales enablement tools for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Address customer and partner inquiries regarding supplement science, usage, and regulatory concerns. 

Event & Conference Participation 

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and training events. 
  • Conduct live product demonstrations and training workshops for key accounts and distributors. 

Performance Evaluation & Continuous Improvement 

  • Assess training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and engagement metrics. 
  • Continuously refine training programs based on new research, trends, and company needs. 

 

Required Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nutrition or Health Sciences. Advanced degree or certification in nutrition or training development preferred. 
  • Strong understanding & minimum 3 years work experience in the area of nutritional science, dietary supplements, and regulatory requirements governing the sale and promotion of VMS products, including EFSA regulations and industry standards. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex scientific information into clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences B2B and B2C 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating engaging training materials and interactive learning experiences in person & online. 
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues and retail partners, foster collaboration, and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines. 
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying abreast of emerging trends, research findings, and best practices in nutrition, supplementation, and training methodologies. 

 

Required competencies: 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with various stakeholders, retailers, business partners, consumers & internal teams  
  • Demonstrate proficiency in creating engaging training materials and interactive learning experiences in person & online for all stakeholders 
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and delivering training programs, preferably within the consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical, or wellness industry, with a focus on VMS products and dietary supplements 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines 
  • Proficient in using various tools and technologies in order to carry out Education & Training. Microsoft Suite /LMS Technology / Social Media Channels 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively. 
  • Ability to travel to Ire/UK / International markets as per the business requirements
